Bermuda Basics

Bermuda has an idyllic sub-tropical climate, ranging from 60 to 85 degrees. In May through mid-October (high season), high temperatures range from 75 to 85 degrees. November through April, the temperature averages 70 degrees.

The Bermudan dollar is on par with the US dollar, and the two currencies are accepted interchangeably. There’s no sales or VAT tax on the island either—a boon for shoppers. For your convenience, an ATM machine is located in the Rosewood Bermuda lobby.

English is the official language of Bermuda, though you’ll hear some Bermudians speaking Portuguese. The international staff at Rosewood Bermuda is happy to assist you in other languages.
