In only the second time in her lifetime The Queen graciously assented to unveil the portrait herself, in the presence of the worlds media, at Windsor Castle in October 2016. ‘Painting The Queen’ will include previously unseen photographs taken at the private sitting, photographs of the work in progress, the unveiling at Windsor and global coverage of the portrait in the international media.
