Rosewood Bermuda Unveils Resort-Wide Reimagination

Today, the ultra-luxury Rosewood Bermuda unveils a comprehensive renovation. Gracing approximately 240 acres of the most beautiful waterfront master development in Bermuda and neighboring the impressive estates of Tucker’s Town, the modernized resort features 88 elevated guestrooms; a redesigned lobby with a vibrant new bar and lounge; an enhanced Beach Club; an upgraded Golf Clubhouse; reimagined dining outlets; and a revitalized spa with new wellness and fitness offerings. The renovation investment is another sign that Bermuda’s tourism economy is thriving, further demonstrating that a tourism renaissance is alive and well. Bermuda benefits from direct flight access from Europe and the eastern coast of the US, making it a natural destination for international travelers in search of an island destination offering unparalleled luxury accommodations.

The resort’s redesign seamlessly combines the elegance of the island’s colonial English heritage with the vibrancy of its native culture for a unique and authentic Bermudian experience. The design of the guestrooms and suites, lobby and new lobby bar and lounge were led by Dawson Design Associates. London-based designer, Alexander Waterworth Interiors Ltd., was responsible for the redesign of the resort’s signature restaurant and bar, Beach Club and Golf Clubhouse.

“We are thrilled to welcome both new visitors and longtime guests to our island paradise that intrinsically reflects the rich culture, diverse history and stunning natural beauty of Bermuda,” said Paul Telford, managing director of Rosewood Bermuda. “The renovation is a testament to Rosewood Bermuda’s commitment to providing unmatched luxury accommodations, the highest level of service, and modern amenities that appeal to today’s luxury, global travelers.” Lobby Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into an elegant lobby, more akin to a private manor house than a resort. Rosewood Bermuda’s 88 guestrooms and suites have been transformed into intimate, residential-style retreats, featuring bespoke furniture, contemporary local art and a soft color palate punctuated with azure blue accents.

The all-new Conservatory Bar and Lounge is the beating heart of the resort where guests and locals alike enjoy hand-crafted British gin cocktails and spirits enhanced by fresh herbs, house-made infusions and the latest mixology techniques. With its twin fireplaces, black and white hand-painted tile floor and elegant beamed ceilings, the new bar is a fusion of both old and new. Boasting local art, casual and inviting décor and relaxed, friendly Bermudian service, the bar is complemented by the intimacy of the new courtyard, which brings a rustic accent to the space. New Culinary Concepts and Cocktail Destinations

Rosewood Bermuda’s existing culinary venues have been re-conceptualized to provide elevated dining experiences that celebrate local ingredients and Bermudian-inspired cuisine:

– The resort’s signature restaurant reopens as the Island Brasserie, a vibrant and informal space serving elevated island comfort food. The adjacent Tucker’s Bar has transformed into a rum bar dedicated to teaching guests about the history of the island’s signature spirit.

– Inspired by Bermuda’s bustling fish markets, the reimagined Beach Club restaurant boasts imaginative, island-inspired cocktails and a menu of fresh, locally-sourced seafood dishes.

– Sul Verde, the Golf Clubhouse restaurant, offers an authentic Italian menu and warm, convivial atmosphere. The Grille Room has also undergone a full refresh. Elevated Beach Club

Located on Bermuda’s largest private, pink sand beach, the refreshed Beach Club is once again the ultimate destination for sun-soaked relaxation. In addition to the reimagined Beach Club restaurant, enhancements include chic new cabanas, umbrellas, pool and beach furniture, and expanded luxury services and amenities. Golf and Tennis

The renowned Golf Clubhouse features updated décor and new, state-of-the-art amenities that take the resort’s golf experience to the next level.

In partnership with Cliff Drysdale Tennis, one of the world’s most esteemed tennis management companies, Rosewood Bermuda is launching a comprehensive new tennis program. Under a dedicated Cliff Drysdale trained tennis director, Cliff Drysdale’s signature tennis programs, leagues, and events will be offered to guests and members.

Enriched Heath & Wellness Experiences

To further enhance Rosewood Bermuda’s health and wellness offerings, the property now features a modernized 12,000 square-foot Sense®, A Rosewood Spa, featuring new spa treatments that seamlessly integrate the essence of the island into the health and wellness experience. Additionally, an upgraded fitness center with brand new Technogym equipment offers a variety of new fitness programs.

The new spa is also now home to one of the first Deborah Lippmann Nail Salons in the world, offering a signature Deborah Lippmann treatment that incorporates her celebrated style and renowned techniques for promoting nail health and proper nail care. Deborah has also created an exclusive Rosewood Bermuda nail polish inspired by the resort and Bermuda’s stunning pink sand beaches.

New Children’s Program

To complement the refreshed kid’s club and children’s pool, Rosewood Bermuda introduces Rosewood Explorers, a new children’s program designed to inspire creativity and a passion for learning through a series of immersive workshops, classes and journeys.

AERIN Amenities

To complement the resort’s physical transformation, a unique partnership with AERIN, the luxury lifestyle brand created by global tastemaker Aerin Lauder, has been introduced to enhance the guest experience. Through the partnership, the reimagined Rosewood Bermuda now offers AERIN’s first-ever hotel amenity line. The exclusive amenity line, called Coral Palm, features six products; a shampoo, conditioner, luxurious, hard milled body bar and facial bar, refreshing body wash and moisturizing body cream. This balmy, tropical blend inspired by sunny days, indigo nights, the bright blue sea and sky and glorious coral sunsets, perfectly expresses Rosewood’s A Sense of Place ™ philosophy, which reflects a location’s history, culture and sensibilities. Guided eco-nature walks, on-property cave explorations and beach excursions will introduce kids to Bermuda’s flora, fauna and native species and teach them how the resort takes part in preserving the island’s natural habitat.

Budding chefs will enjoy cooking classes that will introduce them to the local flavors and cooking traditions of Bermuda. Kids will make fresh smoothies using seasonal, local fruits indigenous to the island, as well as other snacks and treats such as healthy mocktails that will utilize hand-pressed juices and local herbs sourced from nearby gardens.

Experience 3 – Education

After days full of exploration and discovery, children can relax at the Rosewood Explorers kids club where they can get lost in books on the culture and history of Bermuda, enjoy story time or watch a movie on the history of Bermuda’s many forts. Fun beachside yoga and meditation will also be offered to teach children about self-care, empowerment and self-confidence.

Experience 4 – Great Outdoors
