Rosebuds

We’re excited to introduce Rosebuds, our early-years, parent-and-child series created for babies and young children to connect, play, and grow together alongside their caregivers in a gentle, welcoming environment.

Rosebuds is offered as a seasonal series, with each block introducing a specific focus or theme. Throughout the year, offerings may include infant signing, music and movement, sensory play, storytelling, and parent & child yoga — all designed to encourage bonding, shared experiences, and connection among families. Programming is thoughtfully planned yet intentionally flexible, allowing the series to evolve based on interest and the needs of our community.

Families are welcome to join the sessions that feel right for them — whether for one week or many — with no expectation to attend every offering.

Sing, Sign & Socialize

Sing, Sign & Socialize is the first Rosebuds offering and introduces families to American Sign Language (ASL)–inspired infant signing through songs, repetition, play, and shared moments.

This series follows a guided curriculum, introducing a small set of practical, everyday signs and reinforcing them through music, stories, sensory experiences, and movement. While signing remains the core focus, sessions are designed to feel playful and varied rather than repetitive.

As Rosebuds’ themes rotate throughout the season, families will be notified in advance of any upcoming changes.

What to Expect

• Introduction to a core set of ASL-based infant signs
• Songs, rhymes, and simple stories to support repetition
• Sensory play and age-appropriate exploration
• A welcoming space where babies can observe, engage, or rest
• Time for parents and caregivers to connect and socialize

No prior knowledge of sign language is needed, and there is no expectation for babies to sign right away. Many families find signs emerge naturally over time — others simply enjoy the shared experience.

Sessions are led by Candiss Steede, our certified early years educator and ASL instructor, who brings a nurturing, play-based approach to baby signing that supports confidence, connection, and early communication.

Session Times (Age-Grouped)
• 9:00–10:00 AM | Littles (6–18 months)
• 10:15–11:15 AM | Toddlers (18 months–4 years)

Dates

Saturdays, January 17 – March 28
Rosebuds sessions run seasonally and may rotate themes during this period.

Pricing

Members, Member Guests & Hotel Guests: $35 per session
Non-Members: $45 per session

A gentle way to start the weekend — slowing down, connecting, and enjoying time together.
